In Lithuania, the spring begins in spite of the quarantine...
Since the Green Thursday, you can enjoy the sun on the day, and in the night - the supermoon, i.e., the full moon, that comes to the Earth the closest in its elliptic orbit.
Because of quarantine, the streets are almost empty. After shopping in a supermarket, I choose a road through the park, where usually are no human souls too. Suddenly, I discovered two young mooses staying about 10 meters away. I have never seen any animals there in the park! It was strange, that they didn't intend to flee. It was surprising, that they looked at me, as if they would like to ask:
'Where are you from? There is a quarantine - not for us, for you, people! So, you have to go home!'
I let the animals in peace and went home. It's hard to believe, that the moos have such a chance to enjoy the spring so quiet once more.
In Litauen fängt der Frühling trotz der Quarantäne an...
Seit dem Gründonnerstag sieht man am Tage die Frühlingssonne sehr hoch und in der Nacht - den Supermond, d.h. den Vollmond, der einige Male pro Jahr der Erde sehr nah ist.
Wegen der Quarantäne sind die Straßen fast leer, aber nach dem Einkauf in einem Geschäft wähle ich einen Parkweg, wo überhaupt keine menschliche Seele zu sehen ist. Plötzlich fallen mir zwei junge Elche auf, die etwa 10 Meter entfernt stehen. Komisch, aber ich habe hier im Park nie irgendwelche Tiere gesehen! Noch komischer, dass die haben gar nicht vor, zu fliehen. Sie gucken auf mich ziemlich erstaunt, als ob sie fragen würden: "Woher kommst du denn da? Es ist ja die Quarantäne? Nicht für uns, für euch, Leute! Also, nach Hause!"
Ich lasse die Tiere in Ruhe und begebe mich nach Hause. Kaum zu glauben, dass die Elche irgendwann noch eine Möglichkeit haben, so ruhig die Natur im Frühling zu genießen.
Lietuvoje karantino pavasaris dar tik pradeda įsibėgėti...
Nuo Didžiojo ketvirtadienio dangų puošia pavasario saulė, o naktį - supermėnulis, t.y. mėnulis, kuris kartą per metus būna taip arti žemės, kad atrodo jį ranka pasieksi. Tik nėra, kam siekti, nes dėl karantino gatvės beveik tuščios. Eidama iš parduotuvės pasukau taku per miškelį, kur šiuo metu apskritai nebūna nei gyvos dvasios. Tik staiga už kokių 10 metrų pastebėjau du briedžiukus, kurių čia niekada nebuvau mačiusi. Keista, bet jie niekur nebėgo, o labai nustebę žiūrėjo į mane, tarsi klaustų:
"Iš kur čia atsiradai, juk karantinas?"
O aš žvelgdama į juos galvojau: "Na, nejaugi nebijote žmonių?"
O jie ir toliau ramiai žiūrėjo į mane tarsi sakytų: "Juk karantinas ne mums, o žmonėms, tad drožk namo!"
Nuėjau namo palikdama juos grožėtis pavasarine gamta.
Ar kada nors jie dar turės tokią galimybę?

At home, there's warm and comfortable. Outside,
you could enjoy chirping birds, that already returned from warm countries. There are returning storks to Lithuania too, usually to their old nests. Interesting, do you see many such a brave storks in Lithuania, that would build their nests on the church tower next to a cross? There, where the bells ring,
where the Easter bells will ring too...
Zu Hause ist es warm und gemütlich. Draußen
zwitschern die Vögel, die aus warmen Lãndern schon zurückgeflogen sind. Nach Litauen kehren nun langsam auch die Störche zurück - meistens zu ihren alten Nestern.
Interessant, ob es in Litauen viele solche tapferen Störche gibt, die ihre Nester auf dem Kirchturm neben dem Kreuz bauen würden? Dort, wo die Glocken schlagen, dort, wo auch die Osterglocken schlagen werden...
Namuose šilta ir jauku. Už lango čiulba jau sugrįžę paukščiai. Į Lietuvą pradėjo grįžti ir gandrai - dažniausiai į savo senus lizdus. Ar bus daug tokių gandrų- drąsuolių Lietuvoje, kurie lizdą susisuks ant bažnyčios bokšto, prie kryžiaus, ten, kur skamba varpai? Kur skambės ir Velykų varpai...

This year, the Easter is completely different.
The moose graze relaxed in a city park, the storks will hear ringing Easter bells, and we enjoy the Easter dishes at the Easter table, for which it is no quarantine necessary. The spring and the life want to be celebrate! This year - without music, without the traditional festival of academic music 'Resurrexit' (Latin for 'resurrected'), that usually began on Easter Monday in Šiauliai. The quarantine destroyed the music plans too.
Dieses Jahr sind die Ostern anders!
Die Elche weiden entspannt in einem Stadtpark, die Störche hören den Osterglocken zu, und wir kosten Osterspeisen am Ostertisch, für den es nie eine Quarantäne gibt.
Der Frühling und das Leben wollen gefeiert werden! Diesmal ohne Musik, ohne das traditionelle Festival der akademischen Musik "Resurrexit" (Lat. "auferstanden"), das in Šiauliai am Ostermontag begonnen und immer eine Woche gedauert hat. Die Quarantäne hat die Musikpläne leider zerstört
Šiemet Velykos kitokios! Briedžiai ramiai vaikštinėja po miškelius šalia judrios miesto gatvės, gandrai klausosi velykinių varpų, o mes smaguriaujame prie Velyko stalo, kuriam karantino niekada nebūna. Pavasaris ir gyvenimas nori būti švenčiami!
Šį kartą be muzikos, nes Šiauliuose atšauktas tradicinis akademinės muzikos festivalis "Resurrexit" (lot. "prisikėlė"), kuris prasidėjęs antrąją Velykų dieną tęsdavosi visą savaitę.

in this summer! But you know, you planed, God laughed...
So, if someone asks you about your plans after Easter, you can answer: 'Ah, in April and May, I stay at home, and in June, I go probably to a supermarket...'

The life wants to be celebrated - despite of the quarantine!

Wollen wir hoffen, dass wir die Musik zum Sommer
doch schon haben! Wie man aber sagt, du planst und Gott lacht. Wenn jemand euch nach den Plänen nach Ostern fragt, kann man antworten: "Ah, im April und Mai bleibe ich zu Hause, und im Juni gehe ich wahrscheinlich einmal in ein Geschäft..."
Nun aber - bitte zum Ostertisch! Das Leben will gefeiert werden - trotz Quarantäne! Lasst euch schmecken und bleibt gesund!
Tikėkimės, kad bent jau vasarą praleisime su muzika!
Nors, kaip sakoma, planuoji, o Dievas juokiasi. Tad jei jūsų paklaus, ką planuojate veikti po Velykų, pasakykite: "Ai, balandį ir gegužę būsiu namie, o birželį gal nueisiu į parduotuvę..."
O dabar - prašom prie velykinių vaišių stalo! Gyvenimas nori ir gali būti švenčiamas nepaisant karantino!
