I wated for my departure to Philadelphia which name in greek means "Brotherly love". An unknown man took place nearby and put a dark red rose on the free place next to my travel bag. After a few minutes he stood up and went away without the rose. Did he forget it? Did he leave it intentionally? Today, I have seen such roses in the frozen ice blocks from which was built a Love Oasis in the center of Boston. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and you can sit here on the Love Bench of ice and make pictures...
Es ist noch eine halbe Stunde Zeit
bis zur Abfahrt nach Philadelphia, dessen Name auf Griechisch "brüderliche Liebe" bedeutet. Während ich im Busbahnhof von BOSTON (USA) umherschaute, legte ein Unbekannter eine dunkelrote Rose auf den freien Stuhl neben meine Reisetasche und setzte sich daneben. Nach einigen Minuten stand der Unbekannte auf und ging weg, ohne die Rose mitzunehmen. Hat er es einfach vergessen oder absichtlich verlassen? Heute habe ich solche Rosen in eingefrorenen Eisblöcken gesehen, aus denen eine Liebesoase in der Stadtmitte von Boston errichtet wurde. Morgen zum Valentinstag kommen vermutlich viele zur Liebesoase aus Eis, um auf der Liebesbank zu sitzen...

laukiu kelionės į Filadelfiją, kurios pavadinimas graikų kalba reiškia "brolišką meilę." Kol dairiausi aplinkui netoliese prisėdęs nepažįstamasis ant laisvos kėdės šalia mano krepšio pasidėjo raudoną rožę. Po kurio laiko pakilo ir nuėjo palikęs ją. Pamiršo? Specialiai paliko? Šiandien jau mačiau tokias rožes, užšaldytas ledo plytelėse, iš kurių buvo kuriama meilės oazė Bostono centre. Rytoj Valentino diena ir visi galės pasėdėti ant suolelio Meilės oazėje iš ledo...

In the Love-City PHILADELPHIA
is LOVE the second word after INDEPENDENCE because it was declared here. In the city center you can visit Love Square which official name is J. F. Kennedy Plaza. American President J. F. Kennedy was well known for his love flings but the Love Park is associated with the four huge letters LOVE called Love Monument.
The Plaza is especially liked by skateboarders that you could see already in the early morning of the cold and windy Valetine's Day. But they didn't feel well because of the tourists and lovers maked here photos. Shortly was created an inscription in chalk on the ground near the Love Monument: "Tourists go home". Shortly will be probably create the other inscription "Lovers go home". Otherwise you will expect fate of the teddy bear...

ist LIEBE das zweite Wort nach der UNABHÄNGIGKEIT, die hier erklärt wurde. In der Stadtmitte gibt es einen Liebespark, dessen offizieller Name Kennedy Plaza ist. Es ist ja bekannt, dass der amerikanische Präsident J. F. Kennedy zu Liebesabenteuern geneigt war, aber der Name Liebespark ist mehr mit dem Liebesdenkmal hier zu verbinden, das aus vier riesigen Buchstaben LOVE besteht.
Der Park ist von Skateboarders besonders beliebt, die da schon am frühen Morgen des eiskalten und windigen Valetinstag gerannt sind. Sowohl Touristen als auch Liebespaare, die bei LOVE Fotos machen wollten, haben sie offensichtlich gestört. In der Nähe vom Liebesdenkmal entstand bald eine Kreideaufschrift: "Tourists go home". Heute abend kommt vermutlich noch "Lovers go home" dazu. Sonst erwartet das Schicksal eines Teddybären...

MEILĖ yra antras žodis - po NEPRIKLAUSOMYBĖS, nes čia ji buvo paskelbta. Miesto centre yra Meilės skveras, kurio oficialus pavadinimas - Kenedžio skveras. Kaip žinia, Amerikos prezidentas J. F. Kenedis neatsispirdavo meilės kerams, bet skveras siejamas su meile greičiausiai dėl to, kad ten stovi Meilės paminklas - keturios milžiniškos raidės LOVE.
Šią aikštę yra įsimylėję riedlentininkai, kurie dardėjo čia ir per Valentiną, nors buvo dar ankstyvas rytas, nors pūtė ledinis vėjas. Jiems akivaizdžiai trukdė tiek turistai, tiek porelės, norinćios nusifotografuoti prie LOVE. Neužilgo netoli Meilės paminklo ant grindinio atsirado užrašas kreida: "Tourists go home". Tikėtina, kad neužilgo atsiras dar vienas - "Lovers go home". Antraip bus kaip tam meškinui...
