IT'S EASTER AGAIN! HALLELUIAH! 
The nature is awakening, but if you run every time you don't see 
the first spring flowers. You need a festival to stop, so you need Easter! 
What magical Easter is this year! Since Good Friday you can see the pink full moon, called 'Pink Moon', in the sky. This name comes from the pink flowers - phlox - that bloom in spring. The color pink plays a special role in the Church life symbolizing joy and love. Don't miss your chance to enjoy this pink time! 
On Easter Monday, the sky will be illuminated by falling stars too, called April Lyrids. The Lyrids are a meteor shower, which peak is typically around April 22 each year. It is said that when you see a shooting star, you have to make a wish. A shooting star means that you have a chance to make all your dreams true. So today, let's look up at falling Lyrids in the night sky near the constellation Lyra! I wish all your Easter dreams come true! 
On Easter Monday, there begins the traditional festival of academic music 'Resurrexit' (Latin for 'resurrected') in Šiauliai too. After a week, the festival will be crowned with L. van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, as well as with the poem 'Ode to Joy'. 
So, enjoy this time with the Pink Moon and falling stars!

WIEDER OSTERN! HALLELUJA!  

Die Natur ist erwacht, und man braucht ein Fest, damit ein eilender Mensch 
hält und die ersten Frühlingsblumen endlich bemerkt! Dazu gibt es Ostern und was für magische Ostern dieses Jahr!  

Ab Karfreitag kann man den pinkfarbenen Vollmond, den sogenannten "Pink Moon", bestaunen. Die Farbe Rosa spielt eine besondere Rolle im kirchlichen Leben: sie symbolisiert Freude und Liebe. Nutzt die Chance diese rosa Zeit zu genießen! 
Und noch! Am Ostermontag wird der Himmel 

von fallenden Sternen beleuchtet, die April-Lyriden genannt sind. Es ist ein jeden Frühling auftretender Meteorstrom, der schon seit sehr alten Zeiten bekannt ist. Angeblich lassen fallende Sterne geheime Wünsche wahr werden. Also heute, wenn es dunkel wird, richtet eure Blicke in Richtung des Sternbildes Leier (lateinisch Lyra), guckt auf die fallenden Lyriden und - schöne Osterträume! 

Am Ostermontag beginnt in Šiauliai auch das traditionelle Festival der akademischen Musik "RESURREXIT" (Lat. "auferstanden"), das in einer Woche  mit der 9. Sinfonie von L. van Beethoven und natürlich mit der "Ode an die Freude" endet.
Viel Freude in dieser Zeit mit dem pinkfarbenen Vollmond und fallenden Sternen! Frohe rosafarbige Ostern!

IR VĖL VELYKOS: ALELIUJA!  

Gamta pabudo, o kad skubantis žmogus šiek tiek sustotų

 ir pastebėtų prasiskleidusią žalumą ir žiedus, reikia šventės. Tam yra Velykos! 

Šių metų Velykos prasidėjo dangiškai - nuo Didžiojo Penktadienio naktinis dangus yra nušviestas ryškios mėnesienos, kuri vadinama Rožine pilnatimi. Rožinė - tai labai ypatinga spalva bažnyčios gyvenime ir ji simbolizuoja džiaugsmą ir meilę. Nepraleiskite progos pasimėgauti šiuo rožiniu laiku!

Ir tai dar ne viskas! Antrąją Velykų dieną dangus sužibs dar ir krentančiomis žvaigždėmis - lyridais. O juk sakoma, jeigu sugalvosi norą žvaigždei krintant, jis išsipildys... Tad šiandien, kai sutems, nukreipkite savo žvilgsnius Lyros žvaigždyno kryptimi ir svajokite velykines svajones! Ir te jos pildosi!

muzikos festivalis "RESURREXIT" (lot. "prisikėlė"), kuris baigsis po savaitės  su

RESURREXIT: THE EASTER ODE TO JOY  
The most important concerts of the Easter week (22.4. - 28.4. 2019)  
takes place in the St. Apostles Peter and Paul‘s Cathedral, located at Prisikėlimas Square ('Square of Resurrection') in the city centre. 
You could enjoy European music in 10 concerts of the famous participants 
from all the Europa - from France to Lithuania. The festival will remind you the European Union‘s biggest enlargement in 2004. Actually, it's the 15th Anniversary!  
'Resurrexit' takes place in the Easter week, and its introductory event 
was the Mass of the Resurrection with a concert in the St. Apostles Peter and Paul‘s Cathedral. The uniquely Easter bells will be ringing in the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Šiauliai, where the Arsis Handbell Ensemble (Estonia) will perform. 
The concerts of 'Resurrexit' take place not only in the city churches and 
concert halls, but also in Manor Houses next to Šiauliai. In Baisogala you could enjoy the drama and music improvisations 'Tres salvete' of Lithuanian artists, and in Plungė - the concert 'A Storm of Silence" of the guitarist virtuoso Kaspars Zemītis (Latvia). K. Zemītis, the guitarist, composer and educator, will perform music compositions from J. S. Bach to the famous Irish rock band U2, as well as his Mass for the guitar and mixed choir (with Šiauliai Chamber Choir 'Polifonija'). So, during ten concerts of 'Resurrexit', there will sound the famous old and modern classic music. 
The festival will finish with L. van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. 
There's used F. Schiller's poem 'Ode an die Freude' ('Ode to Joy'), where you could discover the following lines: 'Be embraced, Millions! This kiss to all the world!' T. Ambrozaitis, Art Director of the Festival 'RESURREXIT', as well as Art Director and Conductor of the Chamber Choir 'Polifonija' (Šiauliai, Lithuania) hopes these lines will be the main motive of the Easter music, as well as it of the Easter time! 
So, celebrate this time not only with the Pink Moon and falling stars, but also with the music Ode to Joy! 

RESURREXIT: DIE OSTERODE AN DIE FREUDE  
Am Ostermontag beginnt in Šiauliai das 37. traditionelle Festival der akademischen Musik "RESURREXIT" (Lat. "auferstanden"). Das Festival dauert vom 22. bis zum 28. April, und seine wichtigsten Konzerte finden im St. Peter-Paul-Dom auf dem Prisikėlimas-Platz ("Platz der Auferstehung") in der Stadtmitte statt. 
Es sind 10 Konzerte mit den berühmten Teilnehmern aus ganz Europa - von Frankreich bis Litauen - vorgesehen. Es wird diesmal die europäische Musik dominieren. Das Festival wird an die große EU-Erweiterungswelle im Jahre 2004 erinnern. Eigentlich ein Jubiläum - 15 Jahre sind schon vorbei! 
"Resurrexit" findet in der Osterwoche statt, und sein Einstieg ist die Messe 
der Auferstehung im St. Peter-Paul-Dom. Einzigartige Osterglocken werden auch in der Marienkirche von Šiauliai klingen, wo Glockenensemble "Arsis" aus Estland auftreten wird. 
Die Konzerte von "Resurrexit" finden nicht nur in den Stadtkirchen und Konzertsälen, sondern auch auf den Höfen in der Nähe von Šiauliai statt. In Baisogala ist das Konzert und Dramaimprovisation "Tres salvete" vorgesehen, während in Plungė Kaspars Zemītis, Gitarrist aus Lettland, unterschiedliche Musikkompositionen - von J. S. Bach bis Rockgruupe "U2" (Irland) und sogar die von ihm geschaffene Messe für Gitarre und Chor spielt. Dabei hilft der Kammerchor "Polifonija" aus Šiauliai. Also, es wird nicht nur die berühmte alte, sondern auch die moderne Klassik präsentiert. 
Das Festival endet mit der 9. Sinfonie von L. van Beethoven und ihrem Finalsatz mit der "Ode an die Freude" von F. Schiller. Darin findet man auch die folgenden Zeilen: "Seid umschlungen, Millionen! Diesen Kuß der ganzen Welt!" T. Ambrozaitis, Kunstleiter des Festivals "Resurrexit" sowie Hauptdirigent des Kammerchors "Polifonija" (Šiauliai, Litauen) hofft, dass diese Zeilen zum leitenden Motiv der Ostermusik sowie der ganzen Osterzeit wird! 
Genießt diese Osterzeit nicht nur mit dem pinkfarbenen Vollmond und fallenden Sternen, sondern auch mit der "Ode an die Freude" in vollen Zügen!

 RESURREXIT: VELYKŲ ODĖ DŽIAUGSMUI   
Antrąją Velykų dieną Šiauliuose tradiciškai prasideda akademinės 
muzikos festivalis "RESURREXIT" (lot. "prisikėlė") - šiemet jau XXXVII! Jis vyksta Velykų savaitės metu (2019 m. balandžio 22 - balandžio 28 dienomis) ir svarbiausi koncertai numatyti Šv. apaštalų Petro ir Pauliaus katedroje, kuri yra miesto centre, Prisikėlimo aikštėje. 
Festivalio metu vyks 10 koncertų, kuriuose šį kartą dominuos Europos 
muzika ir atlikėjai iš Europos - nuo Prancūzijos iki Lietuvos. Visi jie koncertuoja ir pasaulio scenose. Šis festivalis primins didžiąją Europos plėtrą 2004 metai - praėjo 15 metų! Jubiliejus! 
Tai - Velykų savaitės festivalis, tad jo įžanga buvo Prisikėlimo mišios ir koncertas Šv. apaštalų Petro ir Pauliaus katedroje. Unikalūs velykiniai varpai dar skambės ir Šiaulių Švč. Mergelės Marijos bažnyčioje, kur gros varpų ansamblis "Arsis" iš Estijos. 
Koncertai vyks ne tik Šiaulių bažnyčiose ir salėse bet ir dvaruose aplink Šiaulius. Baisogalos dvare numatytas koncertas-improvizacija "Tres salvete", o Plungės dvare gitaristas iš Latvijos Kaspars Zemītis gitara atliks kompozicijas nuo J. S. Bacho iki airių roko grupės "U2", ir net savo sukurtas mišias gitarai ir mišriam chorui. Čia jam padės choras "Polifinija". Tad koncertuose skambės ne tik garsioji tradicinė, bet moderni klasika. 
Festivalis baigsis L. van Beethoven'o IX-ąja arba "Džiaugsmo" simfonija. 
Joje panaudota F. Schiller'io poema "Odė džiaugsmui"), kurioje yra ir tokia eilutė: "Susijunkit, milijonai, pabučiavime karštam!" Pakviesdamas į muzikos puotą, festivalio "Resurrexit" meno vadovas T. Ambrozaitis, kuris yra ir "Polifonijos" choro meno vadovas ir vyr. dirigentas, linkėjo, kad šie žodžiai būtų Velykų muzikos ir Velykų savaitės leitmotyvas! 
Tad nepraleiskime progos pasidžiaugti šiemetiniu velykmečiu ne tik su Rožiniu mėnuliu, krintančiomis žvaigždėmis, bet ir su "Ode džiaugsmui"!

In the St. Apostles Peter and Paul‘s Cathedral, 
the Festival began with the Baroque masterpieces of the 17th - 18th, 
created by J. S. Bach, G. F. Handel and A. Vivaldi. It was interesting to experience, whether the following modern music pieces have enough power to resist the energy of classical Baroque. But both the impressionistic P. Vask’s 'Landscape with Birds' and hypnotic suggestibility featuring A. Pärt’s composition 'Fratres' fitted the light of Baroque perfect. 
Finally, you could enjoy "Halleluiah" (G. F. Händel 'The Messiah'), performed 
by 'Polifonija' and 'AR‘s Musica'. And when only one bird moved during performance of 'Landscape with Birds', so all birds flew up with the sounds of 'Halleluiah'...

 Das Eröffnungskonzert im St. Peter-Paul-Dom begann mit den barocken Meisterwerken des 17.-18. Jhs ( J. S. Bach, G. F. Händel, A. Vivaldi). Es war danach spannend, ob die folgenden modernen Musikstücke genug Kraft haben, um der Energie des klassischen Barocks zu widerstehen. Aber sowohl das impressionistische Stück "Landschaft mit den Vögeln" von P. Vask, als auch die stimmungsvolle Musikkomposition "Fratres" von A. Pärt strahlten ideal im Barocklicht, angemacht von "AR‘s Musica".   
Zum Schluss des Konzerts erklang natürlich das "Halleluja", ausgeführt von "Polifonija" und "AR‘s Musica". Und wenn sich nur ein Vogel beim Klang von "Landschaft mit Vögeln" bewegte, so mit den Tönen von "Halleluja" (G. F. Händel "Messiah") flogen alle in die Höhe empor...

Atidarymo koncertas Šv. apaštalų Petro ir Pauliaus katededroje prasidèjo klausantis XVII - XVIII a. baroko meistrų J. S. Bach‘o, G. F. Händel‘io ir A. Vivaldi. Buvo įdomu, ar po to numatyti groti šiuolaikiniai muzikos kūriniai atlaikys klasikinio baroko energiją? 
Bet tiek impresionistinis P. Vask'o "Peizažas su paukščiais", tiek be galo įtaigi A. Pärt'o kompozicija "Fratres" idealiai nešė baroko šviesos deglą, kurį , kurstė ansamblis "AR‘s Musica". 
Koncerto pabaigoje, be abejo, nuskambėjo "Aleliuja!" iš G. F. Hendelio "Mesijo", atliekama "Polifonijos" ir "AR‘s Musica". Jei po "Peizažo su paukščiais" buvo likęs klausimas, ar paukštis visgi pakilo, tai džiaugsmingi "Aleliujos" garsai jį tikrai nuskraidino aukštai aukštai...

Today, 'Resurrexit' moved to Šiauliai Chamber Hall 'Polifonija', 
where you finally could resolve, what does it mean this unknown word 'The Bersiad'. 
It means the Croatian composer Blagoje Bersa (1873-1934), unknown for me. But it was a composer of substantial influence, who studied in Zagreb and Vienna. In 1919 he returned to Zagreb, where he worked as at the music academy and created until his death. 
Today, Zagreb Guitar Quartet (Croatia) performed the music of B. Bersa and his famous contemporaries M. Ravel, C. Debussy and M. de Falla, and you could imagine how was born the modern music at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

"Resurrexit" zog heute in den Kammersaal "Polifonija" um, 
wo man endlich aufklären konnte, was unter diesem unbekannten Wort "Bersiad" steckt? Na, ja - darunter steckt ein unbekannter kroatischer Komponist Blagoje Bersa (1873-1934). Unbekannt in Litauen, aber eigentlich war er einer der bedeutendsten Vertreter der sogenannten Übergangsgeneration. B. Bersa studierte in Zagreb und in Wien. 1919 kehrte er nach Zagreb zurück, wo er als Kompositionslehrer der Musikakademie und Komponist wirkte. 
Heute spielte as Gitarrenquartet eben aus Zagreb die Musikstücke von B. Bersa und seiner bekannten Zeitgenossen - M. Ravel, C. Debussy sowie M. de Falla. Und man konnte sich bestens diese Übergangsepoche vorstellen, in der die moderne Musik entstand.

"Resurrexit" šiandien persikėlė į Šiaulių kamerinę salę "Polifonija", kur pagaliau buvo galima iššifruoti, kas gi slypi po tuo negirdėtu žodžiu "Bersiada"? Ogi - taip pat negirdėtas kroatų kompozitorius Blagoje Bersa (1873-1934), kuris studijavo Zagrebe ir Vienoje. Sugrįžęs į Zagrebą čia dėstė Muzikos akademijoje ir kūrė. Kaip tik Zagrebo gitarų kvartetas ir atliko B. Bersos bei jo garsių amžininkų (M. Ravel’io, C. Debussy, M. de Falla) kūrinius, nukeldamas visus į sandūros epochą, kuri davė pradžią moderniai muzikai.

MUSIC BETWEEN SKY AND EARTH

Today, 'Resurrexit' took place in the Šiauliai Chamber Hall 'Polifonija' 
again, where Akilone Quartet from France performed. This Quartet, founded in 2011 at the CNSM of Paris, is formed by four young artists. They are Emeline Conce (violin), Elise De-Bendelac (violin), Louise Desjardins (viola) and Lucie Mercat (cello). 
The name is inspired from the Italian word 'aquilone' (the kite). 
In the early summer, the most kites rise into the sky with the wishes and hopes of the people. From the sky, they bring the feeling of the freedom back. Inspired from 'aquilone', its name recalls a bridge between sky and earth, a shared pleasure, and a beautiful imaginary flight. It symbolizes also a desire to create a connection between the different arts and artists, as well as to create it between different listeners in different countries. It isn't also coincidence, that the Akilone Quartet plays not only in the bigest European concert halls, but also in prisons or for the refugees. 
The quartet performs not only in France, but it was invited to play 
already in Japan, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Spain, Estonia, Hungary, Croatia and in Lithuania, in Šiauliai this spring. The young musicians are actually very different, but they all play with surprising power and imagination! Usually, you enjoy rising kites in the early summer. But after the performance of the Akilone Quartet in Šiauliai, you can be sure, that the musicians brought already the wishes of the people to the sky...

Das Konzert des Festivals "Resurrexit" fand heute wieder 
im Kammersaal "Polifonija" statt, wo das Quatuor Akilone aus Frankreich spielte. Dieses Quartet, gegründet 2011 am Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, besteht aus vier jungen Spielerinnen: Emeline Conce (Geige), Elise De-Bendelac (Geige), Louise Desjardins (Bratsche) and Lucie Mercat (Cello). Der Name kommt vom italienischen Wort "aquilone" und bedeutet "der Drache". Die Drachen steigen gewöhnlich in die Höhe im Frühsommer, indem sie die Wünsche und Hoffnungen der Menschen zum Himmel überbringen. Von dort bringen sie dann das Gefühl der Freiheit zurück. 
Inspiriert von "aquilone" (der Drache), steht der Name des Ensembles 
für eine Verbindung zwischen Himmel und Erde sowie für einen schönen und imaginären Flug. Es symbolisiert auch das Ziel, die Verbindung zwischen unterschiedlichen Kunstarten und Künstlern sowie zwischen unterschiedlichen Zuhörern in unterschiedlichen Ländern zu schaffen. Es ist also kein Zufall, dass "Akilone" nicht nur auf den großen Bühnen auftritt, sondern auch in Gefängnissen oder in den Lagern der Flüchtlinge. 
Neben Auftritten in ihrem Heimatland Frankreich, konzertierte das Quartett schon in Japan, Belgien, Deutschland, Österreich, England, Spanien, Estland, Ungarn, Kroatien, und diesen Frühling - in Litauen, in Šiauliai. 
Die jungen Musikerinnen sind eigentlich sehr unterschiedlich, aber sie spielen mit unglaublicher Energie! Die bunten Drache steigen erst im Frühsommer in den Himmel auf, aber man kann sicher sein, dass die Musikerinnen die Wünsche der Menschen mit feurigem Spielen in Šiauliai schon zum Himmel gebracht haben...

Šiandien festivalio "Resurrexit" koncertas vėl vyko Šiaulių kamerinėje 
salėje "Polifonija", kur koncertavo styginių kvartetas "Akilone" iš Prancūzijos. Kvartete, kuris įkurtas 2011 prie Paryžiaus Muzikos akademijos, groja E. Conce (smuikas), E. De-Bendelac (smuikas), L. Desjardins (altas) and L. Mercat (violončelė). 
Pavadinimas, kilęs nuo itališko žodžio "aquilone", kas reiškia "aitvaras". 
Aitvarai į dangų paprastai pradeda kilti vasarą, ten nunešdamas žmonių norus ir mintis. O iš dangaus parneša žmonėms laisvės pojūtį. Toks kvarteto pavadinimas tarsi inspiruoja muzikantes kilti skrydžiui tarp dangaus ir žemės, nors tik muzikos garsais. Kartu tai simbolizuoja jungtį tarp įvairių meno rūšių ir menininkų, tarp įvairių klausytojų įvairiose šalyse. Tad nenuostabu, kad "Akilone" groja ir didžiosiose scenose, ir kalėjimuose ir pabėgėlių stovyklose. Kvartetas koncertavo ne tik savo šalyje, bet ir Japonijoje, Vokietijoje, 
Austrijoje, Belgijoje, D. Britanijoje, Ispanijoje, Estijoje, Vengrijoje, Kroatijoje, o šį pavasarį ir Lietuvoje, Šiauliuose. Jaunosios muzikės, iš tiesų, labai skirtingos, bet visos grojo su ugninga energija. Aitvarai kyla į aukštį tik vasaros pradžioje, bet labai tikėtina, kad jau Šiauliuose savo uždegančiu grojimu muzikės nunešė žmonių mintis ir norus į dangų...

In the Šiauliai Chamber Hall 'Polifonija' took place the concert of 'Resurrexit', dedicated to the 15th Anniversary of the European Union‘s biggest enlargement ever. Wojciech Waleczek, virtuoso pianist, performed 25 plays for piano, each representing different states joining the European Union before 2004. 
Lithuania was among the ten countries that joined the EU in 2004. The Lithuanian representative was the famous Lithuanian composer and painter 
M. K. Čiurlionis (1875-1911). Born in Lithuania, he studied in Poland and Germany, so M. K. Čiurlionis was a true European personality 
already 100 year ago!

Im Kammersaal "Polifonija" fand heute noch ein Konzert von "Resurrexit"
 statt. Im Konzert zum 15. Jubiläum der größten EU-Erweiterungswelle spielte der berühmte polnische Pianist Wojciech Waleczek 25 Musikstücke, die 25 EU-Staaten bis 2004 repräsentierten. Litauen gehört zu diesen 10 Ländern, die vor 15 Jahren der EU beigetreten sind. Als litauischer Vertreter wurde der berühmte litauische Komponist und Maler M. K. Čiurlionis (1875-1911) gewählt, der ausgezeichnet zum europäischen Kontext passte. Anders konnte auch nicht sein! M. K. Čiurlionis ist in Litauen geboren, aber er studierte in Europa - in Polen und in Deutschland. Er war ein echter Europäer schon vor 100 Jahren!

 Šiandien Šiaulių kamerinėje salėje "Polifonija" vyko dar vienas "Resurrexit" koncertas. Jis buvo skirtas didžiausios ES plėtros bangos 15 metų sukakčiai paminėti. Čia koncertavo pianistas virtuozas Wojciech'as Waleczek‘as, kuris atliko net 25 pjeses fortepijonui, kurios reprezentavo 25 valstybes, prisijungusias prie ES iki 2004-ųjų metų. 
Lietuva buvo viena iš dešimties prieš 15 metų (2004) priimtų į ES, 
ir jai atstovauti buvo pasirinktas garsus lietuvių kompozitorius ir dailininkas 
M. K. Čiurlionis (1875-1911). Jis puikiai derėjo Europos muzikos kontekste, tuo labiau, kad jo muziką grojo tokios lakios bei turtingos muzikinės vaizduotės pianistas kaip Wojciech‘as Waleczek'as. Bet ar galėjo būti kitaip? Juk M. K. Čiurlionis gimė Lietuvoje, bet studijavo Varšuvoje (Lenkija) ir Leipcige (Vokietija). Jis buvo tikras europietis jau beveik prieš šimtmetį!

The closing concert took place in the St. Apostles Peter and Paul‘s
Cathedral again. The festival was crowned with one of the most famous classical pieces of music - L. van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in D minor, also called 'of Joy' or 'Epic'. It was his last symphony, created by Beethoven, being completely deaf. But this music is full of joy! It is the first time the composer has used the human voice in the symphony. In its last part (the 4th one), soloists and choir perform F. Schiller’s poem 'Ode an die Freude' ('Ode to Joy'). The famous theme of Joy is the anthem of the European Union since 1993. 
The concert itself was something not from this world. 'He is Music God!' - 
it's about Tomas Ambrozaitis, conductor of this concert. He is Art Director 
of the Festival 'Resurrexit', as well Art Director and Conductor of the Chamber Choir 'Polifonija'. After the concert, you could see T. Ambrozaitis discussing with the famous conductor J. Domarkas, who came to Šiauliai from Vilnius this day. It's interesting, about what did they discuss? About 'Ode to Joy' in the music? Or about it in the life too? Anyway, their faces radiated joy...

Das Schlusskonzert fand wieder im St. Peter-Paul-Dom statt.
Das Festival endete mit der weltberühmten 9. Sinfonie von L. van Beethoven. Ihre Musik ist voll von Freude, obwohl der Komponist absolut taub war, als er diese Sinfonie, und zwar die letzte, schuf. In ihrem Finalsatz klingt - zum ersten Mal in seinem Schaffen - eine menschliche Stimme in der Sinfonie. Es ist die berühmte "Ode an die Freude" von F. Schiller, gesungen von Solisten und Chören. Diese Ode ist auch die Hymne der EU seit 1993. 
Das Konzert selbst ist schwer zu beschreiben - es war etwas nicht von dieser Welt! "Er ist ein echter Musikgott!" - anders kann man von Tomas Ambrozaitis, Dirigent des Konzerts, nicht sagen. Er ist auch Kunstleiter des Festivals "Resurrexit" sowie Hauptdirigent des Kammerchors "Polifonija". Nach dem Konzert diskutierte T. Ambrozaitis mit dem berühmten litauischen Dirigenten 
J. Domarkas, der an diesem Tag nach Šiauliai aus Vilnius gekommen war. Interessant, worüber? Über die Ode an die Freude in der Musik? Oder auch im Leben? Auf jeden Fall, strahlten ihre Gesichter große Freude aus.

Uždarymo koncertas vėl vyko Šv. apaštalų Petro ir Pauliaus katedroje. 
Festivalis baigėsi vienu garsiausių klasikinės muzikos kūrinių - L. van Beethoven‘o Simfonija Nr. 9 d-moll, dar vadinama "Džiaugsmo" ar "Epine". Tai buvo paskutinė jo simfonija ir šį šedevrą Beethoven‘as sukūrė būdamas visiškai kurčias. Bet tai - muzika pilna džiaugsmo! Joje L. van Beethovenas pirmą kartą panaudojo žmogaus balsą. Tam jis pasirinko F. Schiller‘io poemos "Odė džiaugsmui" tekstą, kurį atlieka solistai ir choras. Didingoji "Džiaugsmo tema" nuo 1993 metų yra Europos Sąjungos himnas.  
O pats koncertas paliko be žado - buvo tiesiog dieviškas! 
"Jis - tikrai Muzikos Dievas!" - 
tai apie Tomą Ambrozaitį, šio koncerto dirigentą. Kaip minėta jis yra ir "Polifonijos" choro meno vadovas bei vyr. dirigentas, o taip viso festivalio "Resurrexit" meno vadovas. Įdomu, apie ką po koncerto T. Ambrozaitis diskutavo su garsiuoju dirigentu Juozu Domarku, kuris atvyko tą dieną į Šiaulius iš Vilniaus? Apie odę džiaugsmui muzikoje? O galbūt ir gyvenime? Bet kuriuo atveju, abiejų veidai švytėjo džiaugsmu!

 In Šiauliai, the Easter week was full of joyful music sounds beginning 
with the 'Hallelujah' in the first performance of the Festival and the 'Ode to Joy' in the final concert. The nature kept pace with the joyful tones too. There were the Pink Moon and falling stars in the night and the bright blue sky on the day! You could enjoy it the whole week, that ended with unreliable summer warmth. Swimming in a lake at Easter?! In Lithuania, it belongs to fantasy, that was in reality this year. There was really a pink Easter week, not experienced in Lithuania! The Pink Moon is connected with a blossom, but you couldn't believe, that it suggests such a bloom bomm! It came into bloom all, what can burst into blossom in spring in Lithuania, especially daffodils and tulips. So, the Easter week was full of blossoms, music and joy! A really pink life! Let's hope, that it will continue after Easter too!

Die Osterwoche in Šiauliai war voll von frohen Musiktönen - 
wäre es "Halleluja" am Anfang des Festivals oder die Ode an die Freude im Schlusskonzert. Auch die Natur hielt ihren Schritt mit den frohen Tönen: der pinkfarbene Mond sowie fallende Sterne in der Nacht und der strahlend blaue Himmel am Tage! Und so - die ganze Woche, die mit einer uglaublichen Sommerwärme endete! Baden im See zu Ostern?! In Litauen gehört so was zur Phantasterei, die in diesem Jahr die Realität war. Es war wirklich eine rosa Osterwoche, in Litauen längst nicht erlebt! Der Pink Mond ist mit dem Aufblühen verbunden, aber dass er so einen Blüten-Bomm hervorruft, war es kaum zu glauben. Je mehr, dass nur ein paar Kirschblüten am Ostersonntag zu sehen waren. Aber dann machte die Sonne ihre Arbeit, und es blühte alles auf, was im litauischen Frühling nur blühen kann, geschweigen von Narzissen und Tulpen! Die Osterwoche war also mit der Blütenpracht, Musik und Freude umgeben! Ein wirklich pinkfarbenes Leben! Lasst uns hoffen, dass es nicht mit Ostern zu Ende ist!   

PABAIGA  
Velykų savaitė Šiauliuose buvo pilna džiaugsmingų muzikos tonų - 
ar tai būtų "Aleliuja" festivalio pradžioje ar didinga odė džiaugsmui baigiamajame koncerte. Net gamta ėjo koja kojon su šiais džiaugsmo tonais. Rožinis mėnulis bei krintančios žvaigždės naktį ir skaisti saulė dieną. Ir taip - visą savaitę, kuri finišavo fantastiška vasaros šiluma. Maudynės ežere per Velykas?! Lietuvoje tai - iš fantastikos srities, bet šiais metais tai buvo realybė! Tikrai, tai buvo rožinė Velykų savaitė, kokios seniai neturėjome Lietuvoje! Rožinio mėnulio pavadinimas yra susijęs su žydėjimu, bet kad jis sukels tokį žydėjimo bumą, sunku buvo patikėti. Tuo labiau, kad Velykų sekmadienį labai nedrąsiai skleidėsi tik pirmieji vyšnių žiedai. Bet vėliau saulė padarė savo ir pražydo viskas, kas tik Lietuvoje gali žydėti pavasarį, jau nekalbant apie narcizus ir tulpes!  
Taigi, Velykų savaitė, iš tiesų, paskendo žieduose, muzikoje ir džiaugsme! Paskendo rožiniame gyvenime! Tikėkimės, kad jis nesibaigs su Velykomis...
